Anything I can do, you can do better

It's o.k. to be smarter than me. What is the goal of a teacher? Is it to simply bring the student to their level or is it to propel them beyond their own horizon? The greatest reward for a teacher is for their students to become doctors and scientist.

While they teach with chalk on a black board, to know the product of their mundane tasks and the repetitious nature of learning has the power to produce the promise of tomorrow.

For some reason at times people can be so very small-minded and fail to see, appreciate and develop the greatness in others. However, the sign of a great leader is not their individual greatness, but their ability to see and harness the greatness of others. As an example, the President appoints the brightest stars in their field for his cabinet.

Leadership is a sense and vision for direction. To achieve the goal, it takes many talents and skills to accomplish the ultimate Goal. Every God given vision is too big for one man to achieve. If a vision can be accomplished by one person, it is not God inspired. The great task is to see the succession of vision. From Generation to Generation a baton of burden is passed. One generation accumulates the materials for the accomplishments of the generation that follows.

It is my desire for my boys that they would do all things better than I do. With that in mind, I must set the bar of expectation so that when they exceed my accomplishments, they have actually done something.

It was always the will of God for each generation to grow in greatness and wisdom. We know that rarely happens, but when it does it provides a bright light of example of what can be accomplished when the chain is unbroken. When a pastor can impact those that follow him to preach better sermons, teach better lessons, reach more souls and achieve higher heights, that is the greatest success.

I would look at anyone I might have influence with and tell them, It's is ok to be smarter than me. In fact, shame on you if you don't better yourself in the gifts God has given you.

God created you as a unique reflection of his glory. You can reflect a dimension of deity that is individual to you. You can be a beautiful mirror, but if improperly positioned no light is reflected. Your challenge is to keep your reflector clean and properly positioned to fulfill your destined task.

Reach for Greatness! Dream of the Wonderful! Vision Victory~! There are great and wonderful things to be experienced and accomplished by you and you alone.

In Him, By Him, Through Him,
