Resist The Devil And He
Will Flee From You We
must be awakened about the fact we are in a great battle for the SOULS of
men and THE HONOR AND WILL OF GOD. We
have not been REDEEMED just so we can go to HEAVEN.
We have been left here to accomplish great things for OUR GOD.
The HOLY GHOST given to us then is HEAVENLY EQUIPMENT that God knew
we would need to fight, deliver and glorify GOD.
He told the first church not to depart from the city until they had
been ENDUED WITH POWER FROM ON HIGH. Apparently
JESUS was aware of the impending battles with the SPIRIT WORLD for the
FREEDOM OF SOULS. We
must believe that we do have an ENEMY who has been DEFEATED by our LORD
JESUS but continues to DISPUTE his loss, and wishes to discourage our
efforts to ENFORCE CALVARY. The only way to really RESIST THE DEVIL is for
everyone of us to SUBMIT TO GOD and bow our hearts and heads in prayer.
We must see that we can do nothing to impact the release of the
CAPTIVES OF SATAN with words, we must have a FRESH FLOW OF HIS POWER.
Satan is both a LIAR and a REBEL. HE
will not just let folks go, we must INSIST on their release and this
requires WALKING IN THE SPIRIT, BEING FULL OF GOD and BELIEVING we have
been duly appointed and equipped to accomplish the task.
Our enemy uses every device at his disposal, often he will reach
into our past and bring up something or somebody in hopes of distracting
us or even discouraging us if possible.
Jesus told us HE would not leave us, that HE would be with us in every type of situation. We must trust HIM to walk in us and work through us. We know we are NO MATCH for the evil one by ourselves so we must believe and act as HIS AMBASSADORS. I must get out among folks, EXPRESS HIS KINGDOM through praying, testifying and doing. Lets give ourselves afresh to prayer and believe God will use us, for we are HIS VEHICLES.
