Grasping The Gory Of The
Resurrection There
is no doubt about the grand event called THE INCARNATION: That God would
come among such sinful and debased folks to help and save is mind boggling
to say the least. The
next fact is also glorious: That HE WOULD DIE IN OUR PLACE and PAY THE
HIGH PRICE OF REDEMPTION IN HIS BLOOD.
This should bring such a response of praise and worship on our
part, it should go without saying. To
think that GOD SO LOVED US is so humbling that this act must bring us to
our senses; WE OWE SERVICE FOR SUCH SACRIFICE. I know these events have
impacted the world and also the SPIRIT WORLD, but I feel nothing can
compare with THE RESURRECTION as far as IMPACTING ALL THINGS.
Without JESUS ARISING VICTORIOUS OVER SIN AND DEATH, his coming and
dying surely lose the very impact they had been designed to accomplish.
He never talked about HIS DYING without the fact of HIS RISING FROM
THE DEAD. They cannot be taken
apart; one follows the other. They
are, in essence, TIED TOGETHER, MAKING ONE GLORIOUS WHOLE. When
JESUS AROSE, God dismissed the entire world of religions, concepts, ideas
and practices with regard to HIMSELF AND APPROACHING HIM ACCEPTABLY.
JESUS is the only way to GOD. HE
alone has been legally accepted and his blood only is effective in
REMITTING SINS. What a great
victory has been accomplished with HIS RISING FROM THE DEAD.
The way back to GOD has been narrowed to ONE.
The power of HIS NAME AND BLOOD has been approved by HEAVEN ITSELF
and the DEVIL has been defeated by the CROSS AND EMPTY TOMB.
That empty tomb shouts that EVERY CLAIM OF JESUS IS TRUE.
HIS WORD CAN BE TRUSTED, HIS SACRIFICE HAS BEEN RECEIVED AND THE
HOLY GHOST GIFT can now be experienced, which is verification that JESUS
LIVES BOTH IN THE HEAVENS AND HUMAN BODIES.
The
cross reconciled us back to GOD and the resurrection has allowed humanity
to receive NEW LIFE from the very one who had died for them.
The preaching of the apostles was always about the resurrection,
and we can do no less. HE
LIVES; I know He lives. Praise
God Ó 2005 J.W.
